Awh, poor Rick Hawke-- we havnt even had him in the comic and he just keeps taking abuse from other characters. Perhaps if the comic had kept going I'd have had Rick fly in for a visit to learn he had a daughter living here and Ryan was supposedly at his place. It'd be especially funny if it turned out he actually was gay... Oh oh better if Andie was around when Rachels mom said Rick was coming to visit and Andie be like 'isn't that your father, Rachel?' and she wants to meet him and he shows up and he's got a boyfriend or is just a bit on the flamboyant side-- oh shit this could have been a whole chapter!

Now Brett isnt being super defensive because he likes Ryan yet-- but his father did just come in to his life for the first time-- so you cant blame the boy for wanting him to stay at least a little bit longer.

The look on Rebecca's face in the last panel is priceless.

Infact-- everyones expressions in the bottom row fit the scene very well. Smugness, curiosity, shock, and annoyance.

Also you can see how Brett takes after Ryan and Ryan/Rachel takes after Rebecca.
